    The elf’s patron in the pregens for Imperishable Sorceress is The King of Elfland. If you have a chance to read through Ropework, you will perhaps find it is not a terrible spell for combat (my players have made great use of it) and an amazingly useful spell in an adventure where falling off a mountain is a real possibility!
